HubSpot AI · Updated October 2026

If you searched for HubSpot Breeze AI this month, you probably noticed the name is disappearing from the product. At the Fall 2026 Spotlight on September 16, HubSpot retired «Breeze» as the umbrella brand for its AI. Breeze Agents became Agent Hub, Breeze Studio became Agent Builder, Breeze Intelligence was folded into the Smart CRM, and only one product kept the name: Breeze Assistant.

Nothing was switched off. But the way you activate, pay for and govern HubSpot’s AI changed more in the last six months than in the two years before. This is the updated version of our Breeze guide — rewritten in October 2026 for US teams on Professional and Enterprise portals: what Breeze is now, what each piece costs in USD, what I turn on for B2B clients, and what I still leave off.

What is HubSpot Breeze AI in October 2026?

Breeze is no longer a product family; it is one interface. Breeze Assistant is the front door: you describe an outcome («build a nurture for trial users who never booked a demo»), it decides which agents to call, and it returns a plan, a report or a draft for you to approve. Everything behind it now carries a plain HubSpot name, and everything reads from a shared layer HubSpot calls Growth Context — your business, team and customer information in one place.

Old name (until Sept 2026) Name now What it does
Breeze Copilot / Breeze Assistant Breeze Assistant (kept the name) Takes instructions, assigns agents, delivers plans and drafts
Breeze Agents Agent Hub Where every HubSpot and custom agent is managed
Breeze Studio Agent Builder (public beta) Build your own agents; now triggerable from Slack, a sheet, a webhook or a schedule
Breeze Intelligence Part of the Smart CRM Enrichment, plus calls, emails and meetings captured automatically
    — Context Home (new) A completeness score for the context every agent reads from

If your internal training docs, SOPs or client proposals say «Breeze» on every page, that is a copy job for this quarter, not a technical one. Workflows, agents and credit balances carried over unchanged.

If you are weighing outside help, this is how I work as a B2B HubSpot consultant: one senior person from audit to go-live, with no hand-off to a junior team.

Which HubSpot AI agents exist now, and which are worth it?

The May version of this post listed five agents. The list is longer now, and the verdicts moved. This is how I rate them for a 20-to-200-person B2B company in the US.

    Agent Best for Verdict
Prospecting Agent (updated) Monitors 40+ buying signals, assembles buying groups, drafts outreach Activate
Customer Agent Tier-1 support deflection from your knowledge base Activate if ticket volume justifies it
Deal Progression + Mobile Notetaker Turns meeting transcripts into CRM updates and follow-ups, one-click approval Activate
Campaign Agent Builds a campaign brief, assets and automation from a sales call Pilot on one campaign
Content Agent Pages and posts driven by AEO recommendations Drafts only, human edit
Nurture Agent Rewrites subject, body and CTA per contact at send time Wait — governance first
Revenue Hub quoting Quotes generated from deal context Only with a clean product library

How much does HubSpot’s AI cost in 2026?

Since April 14, the two agents most US teams start with are priced on outcomes, not on seats. HubSpot charges $0.50 per conversation the Customer Agent resolves and $1 per lead the Prospecting Agent recommends for outreach. Both are drawn from HubSpot Credits, published at $0.01 each and sold in packs of 1,000 for $10. Paid seat-based plans include a monthly allowance — reported at 3,000 credits on Professional and 5,000 on Enterprise as of August 2026; check your portal’s billing page, because allowances move.

Do the arithmetic before you switch anything on. A Professional portal’s included credits cover roughly 30 recommended prospects or 60 resolved support conversations a month. A sales team asking the Prospecting Agent for 300 qualified leads is a $300 monthly line item on top of seats — cheap if one becomes a deal, expensive if your ICP is vague and the agent recommends the wrong 300.

Budget rule I use with clients: set a monthly credit cap per agent in the first 60 days, and review cost per accepted lead or per closed ticket — not per output. Outcome pricing makes the agent cheap; it does not make the outcome good.

What should a B2B team activate first?

Not an agent. Context Home first. It is the cheapest item on the Fall 2026 list and the one that improves everything you already pay for. Every agent reads what your portal believes about your business — your ICP, products, tone, past campaigns. In most portals I audit, that context was auto-generated, never reviewed, and partly wrong. Correcting it is an afternoon of work.

Then, in this order. Deal Progression with the notetaker, because it removes admin reps already hate and fills the CRM with the activity data every later agent needs. The Prospecting Agent, with a written ICP and a credit cap. The Customer Agent, only if you have a knowledge base worth training on and enough ticket volume that $0.50 per resolution beats a person’s time. If you are still setting up HubSpot, none of this belongs in month one — the first 30 days of an implementation are about the data model, not agents.

The key idea: HubSpot’s own launch claims — 3.6x more MQLs, 3.2x more deals — are measured on portals with high-quality context. The rename is cosmetic. The dependency on clean CRM data is not, and it is now explicit in the product.

What should you still leave switched off?

The Nurture Agent, until you can explain its decisions. An agent that rewrites each email per person at send time is making individual decisions about contacts. Before it touches a list, you need to know what it is allowed to change, how you will review it, and how it fits your privacy and consent setup — especially if any of your audience is in the EU or California. Autonomous content publishing, for the same reason it was a no in May: the drafts are structurally fine and say nothing a competitor could not say. Ask-AI reporting on a dirty CRM: duplicates and inconsistent lifecycle stages still produce confident wrong answers. Fix stages and exit criteria first.

One more: before you build custom agents in Agent Builder, check whether a workflow you already run on Zapier, Make or n8n is a better candidate for migration than a new idea. The new triggers make that realistic. I covered the shift from scattered bots to one managed hub in our Agent Hub breakdown.

Not sure which HubSpot AI features your portal is ready for? I run a fixed-scope AI readiness review for US and European B2B teams — Context Home, data quality, credit budget and a 60-day activation plan — with calls scheduled in US hours. Ask for the review.

Why is CRM data quality now the real Breeze prerequisite?

Because HubSpot built the dependency into the product. The new Smart CRM captures calls, emails and meetings automatically; Context Home scores how complete that picture is; Breeze Assistant and every agent read from it. A portal with 140 unused properties, duplicate companies and lifecycle stages nobody enforces now degrades every AI output silently — no error, just worse prospects and blander drafts.

The practical answer is a recurring hygiene routine with an owner and a number: duplicates, contacts with no company, deals with no amount, companies with no owner. On larger portals that becomes a scheduled hygiene job; on smaller ones, a monthly saved view and 30 minutes. Either way, it is the work that decides whether the AI line on your invoice pays back.

Frequently asked questions about HubSpot Breeze

    Is HubSpot discontinuing Breeze?

No. HubSpot retired Breeze as an umbrella brand at the Fall 2026 Spotlight (September 16, 2026). Breeze Assistant keeps the name; Breeze Agents is now Agent Hub, Breeze Studio is Agent Builder, and Breeze Intelligence is part of the Smart CRM. No feature was switched off.

Is Breeze AI free in HubSpot?

Breeze Assistant is included across paid plans. Agents consume HubSpot Credits: the Customer Agent costs $0.50 per resolved conversation and the Prospecting Agent $1 per recommended lead. Paid plans include a monthly credit allowance, with extra packs at $10 per 1,000 credits.

What is Context Home in HubSpot?

Context Home is where HubSpot shows what your portal knows about your business, customers and team, with a completeness score and the gaps to fix. Every AI feature reads from it, so reviewing it is the highest-return first step before activating agents.

Do I need Enterprise to use HubSpot AI agents?

No. Professional plans cover the Prospecting and Customer Agents and Breeze Assistant. Enterprise adds a larger credit allowance, custom objects and advanced permissions, which matter for multi-team portals and stricter agent governance.

    The short version

The Breeze name is fading; the AI is not. Breeze Assistant is the one interface, agents live in Agent Hub, the two you will use first are paid per outcome, and all of it runs on the context your portal holds. Review Context Home, turn on the notetaker and Deal Progression, pilot the Prospecting Agent with a credit cap, and hold the Nurture Agent until you can explain what it decides.
